Maclear AG focuses on organising loans for small and medium-sized companies. The Platform prefers projects with tangible assets and proven financial track records, ensuring the Project can support the loan with satisfactory revenues from their business activities. The selection process begins with potential borrowers completing a Due Diligence Questionnaire and providing all necessary documentation. 
Maclear AG internally conducts due diligence using external data sources to verify the Ultimate Beneficial Owner and the Project’s historical and financial background. Maclear AG performs risk assessment and assigns a Risk Score to potential Borrowing Projects. Discussions with the Project then determine the target amount of the loan to be raised, as well as the collaterals and guarantees needed to secure the loan. Once the agreement is finalized and signed, the Project is listed on the Platform for a fundraising campaign. 
The Platform also acts as a Collateral Agent in favor of and on behalf of crowd investors. The task of the Platform includes the analysis, assessment, and execution of pledges and guarantees (as a set of interim measures) provided by the Borrower and guaranteeing the fulfillment of financial obligations to the Lenders by the terms of the Loan agreement.
